Teprek Consulting Services (“Teprek”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect through teprek.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If you have questions, write to contact@teprek.com.

Who we are

Teprek Consulting Services is a technology consulting firm with offices in:

What we collect

When you use the contact form. Your first name, last name, email address, subject and message, plus a phone number if you choose to give one. We use this only to reply to you.

When you apply for a job. Your first name, last name, email address, country, the CV you upload, and a LinkedIn URL if you choose to give one. Your CV may contain further personal information — employment history, education, and anything else you include in it. We use this only to assess your application.

When you browse the site. If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. It does not load at all until you allow it. One thing does still measure traffic without asking: a traffic script belonging to our hosting platform, which we cannot switch off from within the site. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

When you arrive from one of our ads. We run a Google Ads conversion tag, which is blocked until you allow advertising. If you reach this site by clicking one of our adverts and then send us an enquiry, the tag reports that event to Google so we can see which adverts are worth paying for. It sets its own cookies. We do not receive your name or anything else that identifies you personally from it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do advertise online, and the tag described above is how we measure whether that advertising works.

Why we are allowed to use it

Contact enquiries. We handle your message because you asked us to get in touch, and because we both have an interest in us replying. If the conversation turns into work, we then hold your details in order to deal with you as a client.

Job applications. We rely on your consent, which you give with the tick box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and we will delete your application.

Analytics and advertising. We rely on your consent, given through the cookie banner. Nothing loads until you give it, and you can withdraw it at any time — see Cookies below.

Server logs and site security. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and protecting it from attack.

How long we keep it

  • Contact enquiries: 24 months from your last message to us.
  • Job applications and CVs: 12 months from the date you apply, unless you ask us to keep them longer for future openings.
  • Analytics and advertising data: kept by Google for the period set in our Google Analytics account. We do not keep a separate copy.

Who else can see it

We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • GoDaddy — website hosting, email and platform-level traffic measurement
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — website analytics and advertising measurement
  • Automattic (Jetpack) — login protection and site security

We do not share your data with anyone else unless we are required to by law.

Where your data is stored

This website is hosted in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States — including from Chile or the European Union — your data will be transferred to and stored there. Our hosting and analytics providers publish their own data protection terms, which govern how they handle that transfer.

Cookies

This site sets the cookies it needs in order to work, plus one that records the privacy choice you make in the banner and lasts 30 days. Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag are held back until you allow them there; once allowed, each sets its own. Our hosting platform’s traffic script also sets cookies, and those are not covered by the banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work, though some parts may behave differently.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. Write to contact@teprek.com and we will respond within 30 days. Where we rely on your consent — for a job application, or for analytics and advertising cookies — you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you did so. If you are in Chile or the European Union, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This site is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
